Some people can’t cope with headaches, others can’t manage with achy knees. The biggest problem for a lot of people, though, is back pain. The problem with back pain isn’t just that it’s painful, but that there are so many different conditions that can cause back pain. Trying to narrow down the real reason behind the aches?

That’s not easy and most of the time, there’s not enough time to figure it out. With life being stressful, you’re trapped in an endless cycle of pain and unable to fix it. There are some things that you can do to work on keeping your spine healthy enough that you don’t have to worry about back pain at all. Prevention is always better than cure, so if you’re currently dealing with niggles and not full-blown pain, then here are five things that you can do.

Sleep Well

When you lie down, the spine has a chance to relax and repair. You can read Ted and Stacey’s Mattress Guides site to help you to pick the best mattress for lumbar and spine support so that you are sleeping well because of your bed. You NEED to have the right mattress and pillows to encourage rest and relaxation, and as long as you are choosing the right one you can be confident that your sleep is going to help your health.

Exercise Helps

Working out your core strength and abs can help you to support your spine as you strengthen the muscles surrounding it. You need to target your core with exercise that is designed to strengthen it. This article is one of many that can help!

Walk Tall

Did you know that the shoes that you wear on your feet can have a profound impact on your hips and spine? If you’re not wearing the right shoes that fit your feet and support the arch of your foot, you’re going to put unnecessary stress on your spine. Good shoes that provide a supportive base can help you to keep your spine aligned and keep you walking tall.

Book A Massage

There is nothing wrong with the occasional spa day, but there is everything right about booking a physio or sports massage if you are suffering back pain. They are able to work out the knots and issues with your muscles to help your back to feel a lot better. You can cut back on pain medication if the muscular pain is worked out properly, which can make you feel far better in the long run.

Sit Straight

How often do you find yourself slumped and slouched over when you’re sitting down? It’s probably more often than you care to admit. Start practicing your posture and sitting straighter when you’re working.

Your spine is there to support your body and keep you upright. If you’re not paying attention to it, you’re going to find that your spinal health is affected greatly. Support your spine properly, and it’ll support you right back.
